Sell & Repay

Sell & Repay enables borrowers to list escrowed NFTs for sale directly through the GONDI protocol. When your NFT is sold, the sale proceeds are automatically applied toward repaying your loan. Any excess funds—the delta—are credited back to your wallet.

How It Works

  1. List for Sale: As a borrower, you can list any escrowed items for sale on GONDI. Fixed price only.

  2. Sale Execution:

Loan is repaid & NFT is transferred to buyer.

  3. Surplus Settlement

Surplus funds (delta between sale price - debt) are transferred to borrower's wallet.

Private listing

Borrowers who want to sell NFT to a specific buyer may add wallet when placing item for sale. Note collateral can either be listed for sale publicly or privately for 1 wallet at the same time.

GONDI Fees are set to 0%

Example

Imagine you have an NFT locked as collateral with an outstanding loan principal of 2 ETH and accrued interest of 0.1 ETH. You decide to use Sell & Repay feature and list your NFT for 3 ETH:

  • Buyer: Pays 3 ETH & received the NFT

  • Lender: Received 2.1 ETH (principal + accrued interest until sale including any origination fee as well)

  • Borrower: Receives 0.9 ETH
