# How to Refinance a Loan

### What is Refinancing?

In GONDI, refinancing allows a lender to take over an existing loan by reducing its APR by at least 5%. This improvement in loan terms is instant and does not require borrower acceptance, as it always results in a better loan. ### Refinance Methods

GONDI offers three methods for refinancing a loan:

* **Full Loan:** Refinance the entire loan, becoming the sole lender. [Go to section](/learn/how-to-refinance-a-loan/full-loan-refinancing.md)
